On 31.05.2023, project leader Florian presented the Smart Office 2.0 including enhancements, new features and a more intuitive UI. Florian started the presentation with an outgoing call from teams. The digital employee SUSI also answered the phone and greeted us warmly. In a sample dialog that newcomer Emma and Florian had prepared beforehand, they first asked about the request.
In doing so, SUSI recognized that Florian would like to make a table reservation and then requested the name, number of people, and other relevant information. She then forwarded this to a responsible employee in an e-mail, since we were calling "outside opening hours.
But behind this seemingly simple dialog of just a few minutes lies an enormous system: Smart Office 2.0. Even the previous version had it all. Dialog trees that could be individually adapted to customer needs, selected greetings, questions and much more.
In Smart Office 2.0, internal phone numbers can be assigned names. Any number of phone numbers can be entered into the system and each can be assigned an individual dialog. The phrases and actions are intuitively integrated in the dialog builder, whereby the user himself sets when a statement is made, a mail is sent, an API call is made or a question is asked.
As soon as a question is created in the dialog tree, a field for user input automatically appears, which greatly simplifies dialog creation. Such automations help to close logical gaps, but do not hinder the user in his individualization.
Furthermore, Smart Office 2.0 now offers the possibility to set individual endings for all possible outputs. This allows SUSI to say goodbye to the caller in different ways for different dialog branches. These new features in Smart Office 2.0 provide better structuring of the multi-phone number capability and increase the degree of individualization of the dialog branches.
